We Broke the Campervan Rental Model. On Purpose.
Where It All Began
Over a decade ago, we bet everything on a simple idea: the open road is better from a campervan. As one of the first campervan rental companies in the United States, we have spent every year since proving it. Thousands of five-star reviews, millions of miles driven, and more than 10,000 trips completed. That track record was not handed to us. It was built one adventure at a time.
We Have Seen It All
Covid shutdowns, chip shortages, inflation, fuel spikes, peer to peer competition, international players entering the market. We have weathered every storm the industry has thrown at operators over the last decade and kept our fleet moving and our guests out exploring. That resilience is not something we talk about lightly. It is the foundation everything here is built on.
The Problem No One Wanted to Talk About
Refreshing a fleet has always been the quiet killer of campervan rental businesses. Traditional conversions are permanent, which means when a van ages out, everything goes with it. Operators get trapped in a punishing cycle: resell the aging van, absorb the capital hit, buy new, repeat. Most never escape it. That is why so many rental operators are no longer in business.
So We Fixed It
We lived that cycle long enough to know it was broken. The Pod is a fully removable campervan system that installs into a Ram ProMaster in about an hour, with zero permanent modifications. When a van ages out, the Pod moves to a fresh chassis. The result is an asset-light operation, a fleet that scales with the seasons, lower capital expenditure, and a camper system engineered to outlast the van it rides in. This is where the trail starts.
